If you're reading this, you're probably listening to an MP3 you've found, or a CD you've been given, and wondering what the hell this noise is.
(if not, look here for downloads, or just ask for a CD)
This is what I do with my computer when I'm sufficiently bored. Most of it was made by rummaging around my hard drive, turning data that didn't use to be sound, into sound. Since everything in a computer is digits, this is just a matter of changing their interpretation, feeding the file to a different program; the digits stay the same.
This is an oft-used technique among noisicians (but I'm different from everyone else, of course).
The resulting noise was then post processed with CoolEdit and sequenced in FT2 and Buzz, particularly exploiting the low frequency drones with chirping artifacts you get when playing these sort of sounds at slow speed.
(With a few exceptions, of course; see the remix page for details.)
After about two years on this track, I had enough to call it an album. Coupled with a photo of a mouldy cardboard box containing concentrated soap, it became Corrosive 8.
It's currently distributed online through .tiln, and on burned CD's to anyone who asks.
It's not distributed through a record company. This is because any record company that would pick me up would probably have poor distribution, but still demand an exclusive license, which means it would be illegal for me to give CD's to people in areas where they have no chance to buy one. Which is ridiculous.
Anything else you're wondering, just ask.
